Thanks for stopping by. This blog has been designed to be an area where I can easily post new photos from my daily life. I am a photojournalist who works full time as the Chief of Photography
at the Leader Times in Kittanning, PA. The Leader Times is a newspaper
owned and operated by the Tribune Review Publishing Company. My work
has most recently been recognized and awarded by the Pennsylvania
Newspaper Association, Pennsylvania Associated Press Managing
Editors group and the WPJA. I received my formal photographic education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts
degree in Photography. Later, I attended SALT Institute for Documentary
Studies in Portland, Maine, where I honed my story telling skills to a fine art. Since then, I have worked at several newspapers until
landing my current full time position with the Tribune-Review. I have
been shooting weddings for several years now, and I enjoy using my
documentary story telling style as a way to make unique images of a
couples most special day. I am also a proud member of the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association). Please be sure to come back regualarly as I will attempt to keep this blog fresh with new photos as they happen. If you are interested in hiring me as your wedding photographer, be sure to check out the wedding section of my site and do not hesitate to drop me a line @ bfhenryphoto@gmail.com.
My beautiful wife Megan has been wanting to do a portrait session wearing her wedding dress in the snow. This January has provided the perfect opportunity. These photos were taken on her parents farm in Kittanning, PA.
